			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Howdy folks! I&#8217;ve been hard at work with a new iPhone creation. If you&#8217;re a using of location-based apps, you&#8217;ll definitely be interested. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s called &#8216;Atlas&#8217; and it&#8217;s a universal check-in app for the iPhone. With Atlas, you can check in to multiple location-based services (FourSquare, BrightKite, TriOut) all in the same app.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll also be to save the same location (ie, Starbucks) under different location services as a &#8220;favorite&#8221;. In essence, it&#8217;s a meta-checkin favorite. </p>

<p>Some key points:</p>
<ul>
<li>The plans auto-renew each month. If you want 3G data access for just that month, you *have* to cancel before the next billing cycle.</li>
<li>When you sign up, you create an ID that&#8217;s unrelated to any existing AT&amp;T &amp; iTunes account.</li>
<li>Any account that&#8217;s unused for 2 months gets deleted (so you have to create it again after that)</li>
<li>Streaming video will eat up your 250MB plan *really* quick.</li>
</ul>
<p>Here&#8217;s another tip: If you&#8217;re not using the 3G connection, turn off the &#8216;Cellular Data&#8217; to save power:</p>
